Garry Copeland is non-executive chairman of Cranfield Aerospace Solutions Ltd.

An engineer and pilot, he is a retired board member and Managing Director of Operations of British Airways, where he served for 28 years in various engineering and operations roles, including Director of Engineering and Chief Powerplant Engineer.

Garry has extensive experience in engineering and operations management and has served as chairman of the safety board of Eversholt Rail, and currently serves as the non-executive chairman of Air Safety Support International, a subsidiary of the UK Civil Aviation Authority, and is a non executive director of AirTanker Services Ltd.

Garry is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, (BA/BAI in mathematics and engineering science) and Cranfield University (MSc in aerospace propulsion).
