Chris Holliday joined the Board in June 2015. In addition to this role he runs a consultancy business, Energy Aviation Services that specialises in the commercial aviation field including acting as a consultant to Cranfield Aerospace.

Following his graduation from Bristol University in 1985 with an Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Chris joined British Aerospace as part of their commercial aircraft sales and marketing team. Chris held a range of technical sales and marketing positions during his 12 year career with British Aerospace covering all the company’s regional airline products on a worldwide basis including one year working as part of the AI(R) joint venture in Toulouse.

Subsequent to his time at British Aerospace, Chris then moved into commercial roles with the European Regions Airline Association and Slingsby Aviation.

In 1999 he joined Eastern Airways as Commercial Director and spent 14 years with the company as it developed into one of the UK’s leading regional airlines. Chris held senior roles including that of Chief Operating Officer, which involved acting as Nominated Post Holder for ground and flight operations. Chris was also Accountable Manager for Air Southwest following its acquisition until the point where its operations were combined with those of Eastern Airways.
Chris brings a strong commercial background and broad experience of civil aerospace to the Board.
