John has recently joined Cranfield Aerospace Ltd as Chief Aircraft Engineer and Continuing Airworthiness Manager.

He will be your point of contact for any queries relating to maintenance or airworthiness and is always happy to explore Opportunities in this area. Flexibility is his watchword and will always try to work to suit you, the customer.

John has a wealth of experience in the General Aviation market and also with Regional Airline aircraft gained through over 20 years as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. Whilst starting his aviation career as a PPL at 17 he progressed into engineering, with Woodgate Aviation based in Belfast, on light aircraft. After qualifying as an engineer with CAA he then moved to BA Regional working in Belfast and Madrid for nearly 10 years. Since their demise, in 2007, he has worked in a number of positions within aircraft maintenance holding Maintenance Manager and Airworthiness Manager titles. During this time, whilst based in Malta working for an aerial survey company, he gained experience of maintenance and Aviation Authorities across Africa, Middle East and Europe.
