Cranfield Aerospace is proud to support some of Britain’s most iconic Historic Aircraft.

CAeS has acted as Design Advisor and Independent Technical Evaluator for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight since 1985. We have also supported the Vulcan to the Sky Trust, the Royal Navy Historic Flight, Army Historic Aircraft Flight and many other operators. We have experience of piston engine, turboprop and jet aircraft, as well as experience with metal, wood and composite airframes. Our capabilities cover design, analysis, manufacture, modification and servicing. We can cover anything from simple material changes to complete new systems. So if you own, operate, maintain or repair anything from a Hawker biplane to a 1950s jet, please talk to us.
