David. H. Bate

Non-executive Director Cranfield Aerospace Limited

David Bate has been a non-executive director since September 2003 having retired after eighteen years as Director of Finance of Cranfield University and its group companies. Over the eighteen years, Cranfield University achieved growth in income of four percent per annum above inflation.

Previously, he held positions with various industrial companies as Chief Accountant and Finance Director after training with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He is a member of the boards of directors of Cranfield Ventures, CIT Holdings and a member of the Quality and Standards Committee of City and Guilds.
